Primary objectives of Maintenance Plumber Jobs in Ireland

To perform proactive maintenance, repairs, and inspections of the structure, its associated systems, plant, and equipment in adherence to applicable operational procedures and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Plumber Jobs

• Perform inspections, testing, restorations, and maintenance of associated systems, equipment, and plumbing services in adherence to applicable standards and operational protocols.
• Perform responsibilities in adherence to secure working practices as prescribed by statutory, NHS, Trust, and Company guidelines.
• Provide timely responses to requests for breakdowns.
• Ensure that work is conducted with minimal disruption to the wards and departments.
• Establish partnerships and cooperate with colleagues and the Trust in order to provide a service that is centered on the customer.
• Perform minor repairs to the building fabric as directed to ensure the security and safety of the Trust’s facilities, patients, employees, and visitors.
• Perform installation tasks that entail modest modifications and adjustments.
• Exhibit adaptability when managing projects in collaboration with other professions and contractors.
• Operate hand and power tools, as well as all forms of access equipment, in strict adherence to health and safety regulations and the guidelines provided by the manufacturers.
• Ensure that personal protective equipment is utilized appropriately and that health and safety and infection control procedures are followed.
• Safely address the consequences of inclement weather, including but not limited to snow removal, gritting, inundation, and high winds.
• Uphold records in a suitable manner.
• Engage in activities that promote continuous improvement.
• Undergo training as required to acquire additional competencies and to ensure the service’s needs are continually evolving and improved.
• Be a member of the emergency standby schedule.
• Communicate and perform responsibilities as assigned at other Lend Lease undertakings.

• Minimize penalty deductions by addressing all maintenance issues in a punctual manner in accordance with the concession/project agreement’s stipulations.

• Exhibit a tangible dedication to fostering a culture devoid of incidents and injuries (IIF).

Experience

• Prior experience working in a maintenance environment
• Prior experience working in a healthcare maintenance setting

Skills/Ability/Knowledge

• Three years of minimum post-advanced experience in a maintenance setting

Education/Qualification

• Acknowledged apprenticeship in a pertinent engineering discipline

City & Guilds level

• English and mathematics at the GCSE or O Level, or an equivalent
• ONC or HNC in a pertinent engineering field

Personal Qualities

• Solid customer service and communication abilities
• Proactive problem-solving methodology
• Capable of operating with minimal oversight
• Contribute to the group and educate your colleagues.
• Amenable and adaptable
• Willing to labor beyond regular hours if required
• Willing to travel to additional locations within the organization
• Hold an up-to-date and valid driver’s license.
