About You

  • Individuals are required to either have completed or be enrolled in QQI Level 5 Modules in Care Skills/Support and Caring for the Elderly (or an equivalent or higher qualification) OR possess a minimum of one year of paid experience providing personal care in a healthcare environment, such as a nursing home or another home care agency.
  • It is required that you be present for work every other weekend, or alternatively, every Saturday or Sunday.
  • Having a positive attitude and a genuine interest in assisting vulnerable individuals are essential qualities.
  • Transport and a valid driver’s license are required.

Market Leading Rates:

Leading hourly rates on the market beginning at:

  • a minimum of €13.50 per hour, Monday through Saturday; €20.25 per hour for two consecutive 30-minute visits.
  • a Sunday minimum wage of €16.87 per hour
  • a minimum wage of €16.87 per hour for emergency coverage and when assisting customers who present unique challenges.
  • a payment of at least €27.00 during bank holidays
